Know exactly what you need before you spend $5K
60 minutes. One clear roadmap. What to build, what to buy, what to skip. No sales pitch, a straight read on your systems and a plan to fix them.
What You Walk Away With
Systems Audit
We map every tool, subscription, and process you currently use. What’s working, what’s redundant, what’s costing you money for no reason.
Clear Roadmap
A prioritized action plan: what to fix first, what to build, what to skip entirely. Specific enough to hand to any developer, including me.
Budget Estimate
Honest pricing for what you actually need. No inflated proposals. If a $500 fix will solve your problem, I’ll tell you, not sell you a $10K rebuild.
Written Summary
A document you own. Share it with your team, your board, your spouse. Everything we discussed, organized and actionable.
This Is For You If…
➤ You’re spending $200+/month on tools that don’t connect and you’re not sure what to replace them with.
➤ You need a website but you’re overwhelmed by the options: template, agency, freelancer, or build it yourself.
➤ Your business has outgrown its current systems but you don’t know if custom software is worth the investment.
➤ You’ve been burned before, overcharged, underdelivered, locked into a platform, and you need an honest assessment before committing again.
➤ You’re a church or nonprofit with a tight budget and you need to know exactly where your dollars will have the most impact.
How the Session Works
Book & Prep
You fill out a short intake form about your business, tools, and pain points. I review everything before we meet. We don’t waste the session on basics.
60 minutes deep dive
We walk through your current setup, identify gaps, and design a path forward. Screen share, whiteboard, whatever works. I ask the questions most providers skip.
Written Roadmap (Within 48 Hours)
You receive a detailed summary: findings, recommendations, priority order, and budget estimates. Yours to keep regardless of next steps.
Decision (No Pressure)
If you want to move forward, the session fee applies to your project. If not, you still have a clear roadmap to use however you want. No lock-in, no hard sell.
Why I Can Do This
I’ve spent 20+ years inside operations and web work, not just building websites, but running the systems behind them. A custom ops platform I built from the ground up has been in daily production use for 9 years. I’ve audited and replaced tools for staffing agencies, ministries, contractors, and property managers. I know what works, what wastes money, and where the real leverage is.
This isn’t a discovery call disguised as a product. It’s the same diagnostic process I use before every project I take on, packaged as a standalone service because most business owners need clarity before commitment.
How to Prep (5–10 Minutes)
The session goes deeper the more context you bring. None of these are required, but each one we have lets us spend the 60 minutes on solutions instead of basics.
A list of your current tools and what they cost
Website builder, CRM, email, scheduling, accounting, anything you pay monthly. Even a quick screenshot of last month’s credit-card statement works.
One sentence on what isn’t working
“Phone tag with leads.” “Spreadsheets out of date.” “Site is slow.” “Volunteers can’t sign up online.” The pain that brought you here.
A rough sense of budget
Not a number you’re committed to, just a band. “Under $5K,” “$5K–$15K,” “whatever it takes.” Helps me match the recommendation to what’s realistic.
Two competitors or peers whose tech you envy
Links to other businesses (in or out of your industry) whose sites or systems feel right. Faster than describing in words what “good” looks like.
Common Questions
What if I already know what I need?
Skip the session entirely. Three faster paths:
• Send a quick project brief. if you have a written scope already.
• Text (864) 787-3116. one line, get a read on fit fast.
• Email Matt. if you want to share files or a longer note.
The Clarity Session is for people who aren’t sure yet.
Is the fee refundable?
No, because you receive real deliverables (the roadmap document). But if you move forward with a project, the full fee is applied to your project cost.
Can we meet in person?
If you’re in the Greenville/Spartanburg area, absolutely. Otherwise, video call works great. I’ve done both with equally good results.
What’s the difference between this and a free consultation?
A free consultation is a sales conversation. This is a working session with deliverables. You get my full attention for 60 minutes plus a written roadmap, not a 30-minute pitch for my services.
Ready for Clarity?
$350 for a 60-minute session + written roadmap (within 48 hours). Applied to your project if you move forward. No lock-in.
